  2. FELTING FUN FOR CHILDREN by Marlene's Felting Madness. Stop by Marlene's vendor booth and learn how to turn wool into felt. In this free mini-workshop, learn how to use traditional wet felting techniques to create a unique piece of felt. Students will lay out colorful merino roving, wet the fiber with water and soap, and apply friction until a beautiful piece of felt is created. (No age limit.)
  3. Beginning Knitting and Crocheting by Mary of Alpacas of Maryland. Want to learn to knit, puzzled by how to cast on or what is "knit one purl two"? Want to do the beautiful patterns and lacy effects of crocheting, wonder how they do that? Then come to Mary's tent. You do not have to any particular age, this is a youth friendly actifiity. Sit amoungst the yarn, fiber and alpacas and learn with Mary.
